On 29th September, 2019 Department of Statistics organized national conference on "APPLICATIONS OF COMPUTATIONAL STATISTICS IN DATA SCIENCE". We invited 3 keynote speaker Shree Avneeshji Bhatnagar from Staff Training Institute, Government of India, Delhi, Prof. Sheela Misra from Department of Statistics, Lucknow University, Lucknow and Dr. Jitendra Kumar fromDepartment of Statistics, Central University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. 150 delegates are participated from all over India. This function is inaugurated by Chief Minister of Gujarat Shree Vijaybhai Rupani with the presence of Principal Secretary of Higher Education Gujarat Smt. Anju Sharma, Commissioner of Higher Education Gujarat Shri L.P. Padaliya, Hon. Vice Chancellor of Saurashtra University Dr. Nitin Pethani and Hon. Pro Vice Chancellor of Saurashtra University Dr. Vijay Desani.
