The UGC has issued new guidelines to reopen universities and colleges after nearly 10 months of lockdown. Department of Statistics, Saurashtra University reopens class room teaching with following Covid guidelines on 11/01/2021 at 11:00. Department of Statistics follows standard precaution such as regular sensitization of class rooms and temperature screening of faculties and students on campus. Mask were distributed to students. Vice Chancellor Dr. Pethanisir, Pro Vice Chancellor Dr. Deshanisir, Registrar Dr.Sonisir and Head of Department of Statistics Dr. Bhimanisir and all the faculties were present there. Dr. Pethanisir addressed the media and press and welcome students. All the teaching and non-teaching staff participated in welcoming the students with covid guidelines. All the students were happy to attend in person lectures instead of online sessions.
